ALTERNATE PROGRAM

BACKGROUND

The alternate program is for the use of family or group homes with current memberships with the SFCCHA.

All of our alternates have completed their First Aid and CPR and a criminal records check.

Please download our checklist HERE and go over it with your alternate.

COST

$7.00/hour, 3 hour minimum

Please make cheques out to SFCCHA and mail within one week to:

Please contact our answering service at 242-4442.  Bernadine Small will return calls on a daily basis.

48 hours notice is required for CANCELLATION or you will be charged the minimum 3 hour fee.  Cancellations for Mondays should be made by Friday.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All information regarding your child care home will be kept confidential by the alternate.

Confidential information has been defined as those personal facts or conditions pertaining to the child care home which has been communicated to the alternate.  It is expected that such information will be respected and safeguarded by the alternate.  Any information regarding the operation of the child care home, whether it is relating to the business, special program, staff, parents, or children, will be considered confidential.
